School will be closed on Sept 28th!
In an overabundance of caution, Broward County Public Schools and District offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, due to potential impacts from Hurricane Ian. Please watch this important message from Superintendent Dr. Vickie Cartwright at https://www.eduvision.tv/l?etgeORL.
All after-school activities are cancelled today, September 27 and tomorrow, September 28, including field trips and nighttime classes. Afterschool care is open on Tuesday; however, we ask that parents pick up their children from afterschool care as soon as possible. Before and After School Care services will be closed on Wednesday, September 28.
The District continues to work closely with emergency management officials to monitor the approaching storm and its impact on Broward County. We will provide additional updates regarding Thursday and Friday through our regular communications channels and the Broward County Public Schools social media pages on Twitter and Facebook.
Please visit BCPS Storm Resource Center at http://www.browardschools.com/stormcenter for resources on preparing for the storm, information on shelters and other important local resources.
Stay safe. Thank you!
