The Parent Teacher Association works hard to build strong working relationships among the parents, teachers, staff, and school as a whole.
BE A LEADER!
We invite you to join us in this effort. Membership is only $10 and those dues go toward the membership to the National PTA and to help subsidize some of the PTA sponsored activities for our teachers, students and families.
Take advantage of the many benefits, discounts and resources of membership by visiting www.floridapta.org to learn more.
If you have any questions, please contact, Vice President of Membership, by emailing WestchesterPTA.VPMem@gmail.com.
Everyone will need to apply, even if you've been approved in the past. You will receive an email back when you have been approved, which takes approximately two weeks. Once you are approved by Broward County and volunteers are allowed on campus, you can stop by the front office to have your volunteer badge printed out for the 2022/2023 school year.

The Westchester Elementary PTA is excited to sponsor a number of Programs throughout the year to help enrich our students’ school experience.

Your child's teacher will have a signup sheet available for room parents. Primary responsibilities include organizing parties, assisting the teacher with scheduling classroom help and field trip chaperones, managing teacher appreciation week for your class, and disseminating information from the PTA to other parents in the class.
Book fair is always a great way to get involved with the school and interact with students and other parents. Typically, we have book fairs in the fall and spring. Check our Volunteer Opportunities page to see what days and times are available for you to sign up for!
Please be sure that you have registered as a Broward Schools volunteer. If you have not already done so, please click the Volunteer Application button above. This will ensure that you are able to volunteer on campus in the future.
